New Friends

The past couple of days have been a blur of activities and adventures.  On May 1st, Brazil celebrates Labor Day.  We started our day at Padaria Real bakery-with a tour behind the scenes that included fresh bread and a cake for our BBQ.   The afternoon was spent with Mike's host family and a traditional Brazilian BBQ with great food and friends.  In the past 2 days we have visited hospitals, attended a Military Police ceremony, a zoo, and the university.  After last night's presentation, Mike and Mark were teaching the children to play American football.  It was quite a sight!
